Literacy
We continue to explore writing through letters, labels, and words. Check out some of our work below.
  • I can identify corresponding written words as they are read aloud.
  • I can count the number of words in a sentence.
  • I can make connections between letters and sounds in words.

Welcome Back, Kindergarten Families! We are so happy to be together again after our time apart during the teacher strike. The children have settled back into our routines with big smiles, open hearts, and an amazing sense of excitement. Our focus this week was on reconnecting, rebuilding community, and celebrating the season together, all while learning through the lens of Alberta’s 2025 Kindergarten Curriculum. This time of year is full of curiosity, creativity, and wonder, perfect for learning about friendship, feelings, and fall fun!
