  • Jan 22 – Hip Hop Dance performance 
  • Jan 30 Non-Instructional Day – no school for students 
This week in kindergarten, students explored their families through drawing and labelling, a meaningful activity that connects personal experiences to learning across all subject areas. Through this work, students shared who is important to them while developing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, wellness, and creative expression.

English Language Arts & Literacy
Students used drawing and early writing to communicate meaning.

Welcome Back, Kindergarten Families! We are so happy to be together again after our time apart during the teacher strike. The children have settled back into our routines with big smiles, open hearts, and an amazing sense of excitement. Our focus this week was on reconnecting, rebuilding community, and celebrating the season together, all while learning through the lens of Alberta’s 2025 Kindergarten Curriculum. This time of year is full of curiosity, creativity, and wonder, perfect for learning about friendship, feelings, and fall fun!
