Hello Families, What a fun week in Kindergarten! Her dedication to students, staff, and families has made a lasting impact on our school community. Hello Families, Important Dates Dec 8  Fun Lunch Dec 16  Winter Concert  Dec 17  Winter Concert  Dec 19  Fun Snack Dec 19  Last day before Winter Break Jan 5  First day of classes Gym This week in physical education, our kindergarten students had a blast exploring movement, balance, and teamwork through scooter boards and an exciting group game called Hungry Hippos . These activities aren’t just fun; they help students develop essential physical literacy skills, cooperation, and confidence in movement.  Students practiced moving their bodies in a variety of ways while seated or lying on scooter boards. They focused on pushing, steering, and stopping safely, which helps build core strength, balance, and spatial awareness. I can use my body to move safely on a scooter board. "Buddy and Snowball," welcome to kindergarten! These special helpers are not just cute; they are here to encourage children to practice kindness, empathy, and cooperation with their friends, teachers, and families. The elves gave challenges and suggestions that supported students' thinking about the feelings of others, sharing, and celebrating each other’s efforts. For example, the elves might encourage students to: Help a classmate clean up. Share a toy or resource during play.
